Religious Harassment in the Workplace

Workers who are victims of religious harassment must immediately take action. As a rule, employees must confront offenders and tell them to cut the behavior. If such doesn't work out, then the employee must commence the documentation of the incident and further happenings by recording the details, such as time, date, and nature of the harassment.

If the harassment does not totally stop, then the victim must continue to document what is going on and contact an attorney who pactices in workplace discrimination. It is recommended to file a complaint with the employee's state, local or any tribunal rights office, keep in mind that discrimination laws in states may bring in additional protection.
